Four distinct roofing areas, not one
The district between the Parramatta and Lane Cove rivers looks like one place on a map and behaves like four when you are standing on a roof. The housing stock, the council, the exposure and the usual faults change as you move across it, so the suburb pages below are written separately rather than stamped from a template.

The Ryde ridge and the older centres
High ground, brick housing, and a lot of original terracotta with tired mortar under the capping. Also where most of the 1960s and 70s red-brick walk-ups sit, which brings low-pitch sections and box gutters into the mix.
The Denistone ridge and Eastwood
The highest ground in the district, running up to around 80 metres at Denistone East. Federation and Californian Bungalow stock near the stations, post-war brick further out, and steep streets that concentrate runoff into very few downpipes.
Macquarie Park, Marsfield and the university edge
Post-war brick giving way to townhouses, towers, commercial parks and institutional roofs. Big low-pitch areas, membrane and metal decks, plant penetrations, and bushland leaf load off the Lane Cove River side.
The river frontages and the heritage pocket
Peninsulas, waterfront blocks, salt in the air and genuine slate. Hunters Hill, Woolwich, Boronia Park, Henley and Huntleys Point sit in the Municipality of Hunters Hill rather than the City of Ryde, and Gladesville straddles both — which changes what you are allowed to do to a roof, not just how it is repaired.
What we do, wherever you are on that list
Roof repairs and leak tracing, tile roof restoration, full re-roofing, metal and Colorbond roofing, gutters, downpipes and leaf guards, storm and emergency make-safe, and inspections with written reports.
Work is carried out by established, licensed and insured roofing contractors working to NSW Fair Trading requirements, and completed work carries a written workmanship warranty.
If your suburb is not on the list but you are close to it, call (02) 9100 0199 and ask — the boundaries on the ground are not as tidy as the boundaries on a page. You can also get in touch here.
